Components of an Energy Upgrade California home energy audit:   Air Quality Issues.   Properly operating bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans correctly exhausted to the outdoors can reduce the overall energy use of a home and add to the indoor air quality.   Leaking attic ducts can contribute to air quality problems, and can be uncovered with a duct leakage test.  Leaks can also cost a lot of money if you have an air conditioning system. More importantly, breathing air containing mold, allergens and other toxins can cause all sorts of health problems.
