This workshop will demonstrate financing concepts using real South Bay city projects. Topics to be covered: what funding resources are available, how to identify variables that will affect project payback, how to leverage programs from other municipalities, how to evaluate financing proposals, and what to look out for in funding proposals. Laura Franke, a widely recognized leader in municipal sustainability project financing at Public Financial Management, will lead this workshop. Lunch will be served. Who should attend: Public works professionals, facility management, and other environmentally oriented staff.
