    SBESC will be hosting a workshop about Energy Upgrade California conducted entirely in Spanish on this Tuesday, January 31 at the Hawthorne Memorial Center.   A copy of the presentation in English will be available as a handout.  Additional workshops will be conducted in Spanish for our other programs and partnerships, and will be held quarterly.  Check our calendar regularly for all of our workshops, and help us pass the word along to Spanish speaking friends and neighbors!

October is Energy Awareness Month! This year's theme encourages everyone to see themselves as a piece of the puzzle fitting into the big picture. Download the 2009 poster to promote energy awareness all year long. Where do you fit into this puzzle? You can start by having your family take an on-line survey for your energy usage at home. There is even a website where you can calculate your own carbon footprint. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to find these links. Send an email to SBESC and let us know what you found out.
