The week of Monday, August 2

Posted by Kathie on Aug 01, 2010 under

Visit the Bixby Marshland this Saturday, August 7 from 8 am – 12 pm, and observe birds, animals, amphibians, fish and a diverse group of native plants in this wetland habitat.  It is located on Figueroa just south of Sepulveda - very local!   The Bixby Marshland was recently restored by the Sanitation Districts and through this restoration effort, the site has been rejuvenated, renewing the marshland’s health and increasing its value to wildlife.  The site is open one Saturday per month.  Self-guided tours are fine, but if you have a group going call (562) 908-4288.
