SBESC will be hosting a workshop about Energy Upgrade California conducted entirely in Spanish on this Tuesday, January 31 at the Hawthorne Memorial Center.   A copy of the presentation in English will be available as a handout.  Additional workshops will be conducted in Spanish for our other programs and partnerships, and will be held quarterly.  Check our calendar regularly for all of our workshops, and help us pass the word along to Spanish speaking friends and neighbors!

The Week of Monday, February 22

A drop of water down the drain seems insignificant.   A drip the width of the tip of a ballpoint pen (1 mm) can waste up to 750 gallons of water per month.  A drool (1.5 mm) can waste 3,000 gallons in a month, and a drool (3mm stream) can waste 12,000 gallons per month.  These little drips, dribbles, and drools of water can add up to a flood, which can typically be fixed by replacing a bad rubber washer!
