Single-family residents have access to FREE high-efficiency toilets through West Basin's high-efficiency toilet (HET) give-away program events throughout the year. Unused prescription and over-the-counter medications that are put in drains or flushed down the toilet pollute the environment. Unused portions should be taken to a household hazardous waste collection center or event (no controlled substances allowed) or put in a sturdy, securely sealed container, then in a trash can where children and animals can't reach them.
