    SBESC will be hosting a workshop about Energy Upgrade California conducted entirely in Spanish on this Tuesday, January 31 at the Hawthorne Memorial Center.   A copy of the presentation in English will be available as a handout.  Additional workshops will be conducted in Spanish for our other programs and partnerships, and will be held quarterly.  Check our calendar regularly for all of our workshops, and help us pass the word along to Spanish speaking friends and neighbors!

Do you own or manage a restaurant? The Gas Company is offering generous rebates on energy efficient commercial foodservice equipment in 2010. The rebate for a double rack oven with a cooking efficiency rating of equal to or greater than 50% is $2,000 per unit . The single rack oven with the same rating has a rebate of $1,000 per unit .
