    SBESC will be hosting a workshop about Energy Upgrade California conducted entirely in Spanish on this Tuesday, January 31 at the Hawthorne Memorial Center.   A copy of the presentation in English will be available as a handout.  Additional workshops will be conducted in Spanish for our other programs and partnerships, and will be held quarterly.  Check our calendar regularly for all of our workshops, and help us pass the word along to Spanish speaking friends and neighbors!

If your water heater is more than 10 years old, replace it with a new EnergyStar qualified natural gas water storage unit, and get a $30 rebate. It must have an Energy Factor of .62 or greater. To save even more money on your monthly bill, wrap the unit and hot water pipes with an insulating blanket. Call us before you buy and we'll send you a list of qualified models (not all EnergyStar qualified units qualify for a rebate.)
