Green Energy tips of the week: With gas prices climbing, good car maintenance can keep it running at peak efficiency. Keep your tires properly inflated, don't haul around unnecessary weight, get a tune-up, and don't drive like a maniac. Aggressive acceleration and braking can reduce your highway mileage by a third. Better yet: take the bus!!
SOUTH BAY ENERGY SAVINGS CENTER
Partnering with the South Bay Cities Council of Governments, The Gas CompanySM, Southern California Edison, West Basin Municipal Water District, the City of Torrance, and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County.
The South Bay Energy Savings Center (SBESC) is the South Bay's local clearinghouse for energy efficiency and water conservation information, training and materials.
SBESC assists public agencies including cities, schools, and special districts as well as businesses and residents of the South Bay to best utilize the many resources available to them through a wide variety of statewide and local energy efficiency and water conservation programs.
SBESC has expanded its services through our Energy Efficiency Plus (EE+) program to deliver significant and measurable energy savings by working directly with public agencies on joint procurement of energy efficient equipment as well as providing information on more energy efficient practices.
